Policing degree or work?

Hi im after different peoples opinions. Im 20 last year i left university as i wasnt enjoying the course. Ive currently got a job and have opportunities to go into management if i pass the assessment day. Ive also got the chance to study a 3 year policing degree. I was just wondering what peoples views are on this as my main concerns with the policing degree is that you dont need it to join the police and it will be �10,000 of debt, it might make my application look good but is it really worth?. What i was thinking of doing is building up a career out of my job and then join when pollice recruitment picks up again.
