Will any travel insurance cover you if you can't go on your trip because of something personal?

I'm afraid you will only get a refund for illness or a death in the family, and then you have to either provide a medical certificate etc., to send to your insurance company. Starting a new job, and not being able to fly because of it, will not get you a refund.
