Could you in theory calculate everything that has happened and will ever happen in the universe?

just like you can predict how a ball will strike a wall if you knew the exact weather conditions, angle of trajectory, applied force, resistance conferred by gravity/the wall/etc., could you also in the same way predict how everything, every other motion in the universe has happened and will happen, including people's thoughts and feelings? is it just a matter of calculating every possible force applied to a given object?
