I want to play softball collegiately.?

Okay, I am a decent softball player, and I want to play at a college level. I have been looking into University of Tampa, which is a D2 school, and they have recruitment forms online to fill out. Now, my other option (since UT is ridiculously expensive) is to go to a community college for two years, and transfer over there to cut back costs ): anyways, how do you go about trying to play for a community college?
