Should I get a body kit and get new rims before I install an underbody led kit that has wheel wells as well?

I was curious that if I installed the LEDs before I got the bodykit would it still shine just as well or would it dim the lighting by the light trajectory? I'm not sure how wheel well LEDs are installed so I assume if they aren't installed onto the rim itself then it wouldn't matter if I installed them before I get new rims but if you do then I know to wait on installing them after I get the new rims
