Will mc donalds email if I have been unsucessful?

I had an interview on monday with Mc Donald's, they said they would let me know by Sunday, it is not tuesday and their online application thing still says considering, last time i had an interview i got an email saying NO. Are they still working on who to employ or have they just forgotten to send me an email saying i was unsucessfull. Should I phone them to ask, I am in the UK recruitment process.
